Reviewing a generated post
You’ll review a draft that Structura produced, decide whether it’s ready to publish, and either approve it or edit it first. If your campaigns publish directly without review, skip this page — you won’t see drafts in the first place.
When drafts exist vs auto-publish
Per campaign, you can choose whether finished posts:
- Publish immediately. The default for most campaigns — as soon as generation finishes, the post is live.
- Save as draft for review. Finished posts appear under WP Admin → Posts → Drafts waiting for you.
Set this in the campaign’s Advanced Settings (during creation or via Edit a campaign). If you’re new to Structura, we suggest starting campaigns in review mode for the first week or two, then switching to direct-publish once you trust the output.
Finding drafts
Generated drafts appear in three places:
- WP Admin → Posts → Drafts. Standard WordPress list.
- Campaign detail view → Posts tab. Shows drafts and published posts for that specific campaign.
- Structura → Overview. Recent activity includes drafts awaiting review.
Each generated post is marked with a Structura badge so you can tell them apart from drafts you wrote yourself.
What to check
When opening a Structura draft, skim for:
Tone match. Does it sound like your site? If not, the persona needs tuning.
Factual claims. Structura is a writer, not a fact-checker. Skim the claims, especially numbers, names, and dates. Not everything needs verification, but specifics worth getting right always do.
Authority citations. The post cites sources; open one or two at random and confirm the link goes somewhere real and relevant. See Authority links.
Sensitive topics. If your niche touches medical, legal, financial, or otherwise-sensitive ground, read more carefully. Structura avoids making specific recommendations in those areas, but a human review is still worthwhile.
The featured image. Does it illustrate the post? Is it on-brand? (See Featured images & visuals for how to tune image generation.)
Editing
The draft is a standard WordPress post once it’s generated. Open it in the block editor and edit freely — change wording, reorder sections, swap images, add your own intro, whatever. Structura doesn’t re-touch the post after you’ve opened it for review.
Save your edits with the usual Update button.
Approving and publishing
When satisfied:
- Click Publish in the WordPress editor.
- The post goes live under its scheduled publish time (usually immediate unless you scheduled it forward).
- If your campaign has channels connected (LinkedIn, Slack, etc.), the dispatcher picks up the publish event and fans the post out. See How channels work.
Discarding
If a draft isn’t worth publishing, delete it:
- In the WordPress editor, click Trash in the right sidebar.
- Confirm.
Discarded drafts don’t count against your campaign’s quota in the way publishes do — they’re just not used.
When to rewrite a campaign vs discard a draft
If one draft is off: edit or discard, move on.
If most drafts are off: the issue is upstream. Look at:
- The persona — is it specific enough? See Tips for writing good personas.
- The target keywords — are they the right ones? See Target keywords.
- The authority sources — are they reputable for your niche? See Authority links.
Fixing those upstream means fewer drafts that need rescuing later.
