Getting StartedYour first campaign

Your first campaign

You’ll set up a campaign that produces your first AI-written, SEO-tuned WordPress post — start to finish, in about ten minutes. This page is a quickstart; if you want the full explanation of every setting, see Create a campaign — full walkthrough.

A campaign is the unit of content strategy in Structura. It captures a topic focus, a persona, a posting rhythm, and which AI model writes the posts. Once it’s running, it keeps producing posts on its schedule until you pause or delete it.

Before you start

You do not need a persona set up in advance — you can create one in the campaign flow, or let Structura build one for you.

Steps

  1. In WordPress admin, go to Structura → Campaigns and click New Campaign. You’ll land on a six-step form: Interview, Strategy, Keywords, Authority, Rhythm, Summary.

  2. Interview. Answer the short questionnaire about what your site is about and who you write for. Structura uses your answers to draft the rest of the campaign. Don’t overthink it — one or two sentences per field is fine. If you’d rather fill everything in by hand, click Skip interview — I’ll fill in the details myself.

  3. Strategy. Structura shows what it inferred from the interview: a campaign name, objective, and Campaign Mode. The four modes are:

    • Traffic Magnet — maximise organic traffic with high-volume topics.
    • Quick Wins — target low-competition keywords for fast rankings.
    • Conversion — content designed to move readers toward a purchase or signup.
    • Authority — comprehensive coverage of a topic area to build topical authority.

Pick the one that matches your goal. You can edit the name and objective here too. Scroll down if you want to tweak advanced settings like the AI engine, emoji policy, or image generation — defaults are fine for your first run.

  4. Keywords. Structura researches target keywords based on your strategy and shows you the list. Review it, tweak anything that looks wrong, and click Looks good — continue. Click Re-discover if you want a fresh list.

  5. Authority. Structura proposes a set of authoritative sources it’ll cite when writing — reputable articles, studies, or official pages in your niche. Review and click Looks good — continue.

  6. Rhythm. Pick how often the campaign publishes. You can choose a cadence (daily, weekly, twice a week) or let Structura propose one based on your strategy. Click Continue.

  7. Summary. Review everything on one page. When you’re ready, click Launch Campaign.

What happens next

Structura queues the first run immediately. Depending on your schedule, that means one of two things:

  • Daily or more often: the first post starts generating within a few minutes. You’ll see it appear on Overview under Active Queue.
  • Weekly: the first post runs on the first scheduled slot after the campaign is launched.

To see it happen in real time, go to Structura → System Logs. Each step of the run shows up as its own entry. See Reading the Logs page for a guide to what you’re looking at.

When the post is ready, Structura either publishes it directly or saves it as a draft for review — depending on what you chose in the advanced settings. The finished post appears under WP Admin → Posts with a Structura badge and under the Posts tab of your campaign’s detail view.

Run it manually, right now

Don’t want to wait for the schedule? Generate a one-off post on demand:

  1. From Structura → Overview or Campaigns, click Generate Post.
  2. Pick your new campaign (or an ad-hoc topic).
  3. Click Generate & Publish.

This produces a single post without touching the campaign’s schedule — the scheduled run still happens at its next slot. See Running a campaign manually for more.

Common issues

Nothing appears in Active Queue after launching. If your schedule is weekly or longer, that’s expected — nothing runs until the first scheduled slot. To verify it’s working, use Generate Post as described above.

The post generated but the image is missing. You haven’t connected an image provider yet. Go to AI Engine → Available Providers and connect one (OpenAI DALL·E, Google Imagen, or similar), then mark it Default Image. Text-only posts work without one.

The run shows errors in System Logs. Open the log entry and read the message. The most common first-run error is “provider returned 402 — billing required,” which means the API key you connected doesn’t have billing set up. Add funds on your provider account and re-run.

Where to next

You have Structura installed, activated, connected to an AI provider, and running. That’s the core loop.
